Our investigation

Myself and Paul along with Stacey and Sandy were floating during the evening so that we could conduct experiments and/or help out with nasty spirits, also present during the evening were...

Stuart,

Lou,

Steve,

Rick
Gary,

Denise,

Jo,

Paula
Ian Heath,

Michelle,

and Ian Hawley

While one group went outside to check out the gantry another started inside the main buildings ground floor and the other in the offices above, Paul and I set up a locked off camera and motion sensor in a corridor near a set of offices the have had reported sightings. We also placed a trigger object in the “Malt Kiln” it was a place where roman soldiers and monks/nuns had been seen so we placed a cross on a piece of paper to see if it would move. We also placed a laser tripwire in the long room just off the laundry (grain hopper room) this is where a man is supposed to have drowned… some how.

We then joined Ian Heath, Michelle, Ian Hawley in the Board Room the presence of a powerful man was picked up in here and it was in here that I heard some one say “what are you doing in here” while I was doing a baseline test ALONE. The name Percy Neame was picked up by Ian Hawley, not long after this All the buildings alarms suddenly went off, there was a bit of a storm outside and this could have been the cause but it didn't explain why my motion sensor was also going off because this was battery powered. After the tape was checked nothing was caught on camera here apart form the usual “Orbs” which sadly don’t count in my eyes as proof (others my disagree and that’s fine, I add orb pics and video footage to the sit so that you the reader can make up your own mind)

Percy Neame

After the alarms had been reset and Paul and I had reset the Camera and motion sensor we spread out again in search of the spooks, we met up with Lou and Ian Hawley plus others in the dispatch area where they picked up the fact that a man had died there due to a fall but… it was not the man who fell that died but the man he fell on top of.

the place where the man fell from

We then went to the grain hopper room, this is where Lou started to pick up the presence of a young man who died in this room due to suffocation. Apparently he was trapped and couldn’t get out, he had fallen in to a large vat of mushy stuff and couldn’t keep his had up long enough.

Paul and I went for a walk through the main building/offices to see if we could cop lucky,(plus it gave me the chance to try out my new night vision goggles) sadly nothing jumped out on us. We eventually headed back to the Board room to join in with the first séance here Lou was being treated rather badly by the presence of a man who wanted to degrade her, Ian Hawley wanted to “lick her face” as well as other things. It all be came rather odd and it was at this point that we decided that we seemed to have picked up on something that was here before the brewery was built, (due to the fact that Percy Neame was not in the habit of licking peoples face’s) and Stacey was talking with the voice of an angry man who wanted us all to leave. We decided to have a break  before the final séance.

Dispatch area

The second séance was stranger than the first and sadly not a lot of Shepherd Neame’s past came through to chat but there’s always next time. The trigger object did not move and the other motion sensors were not tripped, EMF and Temp did not change any more than you would expect but all said and done it was/is a great location and because COTC conducted it’s investigation with such professionalism we have been asked back… watch this space.
